Legit, can you believe that July starts next week!? There's something incredibly shocking with how quickly we're moving into the 7th month of 2020. Talking to some of my friends, it's been strange to identify whether we're actually in summer. Some friends believe we aren't in summer mainly because there isn't the same going out culture that summer normally brings for people my age. Others, like me, think it's summer because the weather has been beautiful and tomatoes are in full swing!
Whether you think summer is here or not, what we can all agree on is that every year it never lasts as long as we'd like. So, considering we're already ~basically~ in July, we can't take the next couple months for granted. At Farm Box, that also means that we have to start thinking about what our strategy is when the produce season is over. Over the course of the next few weeks we'll be asking you to fill out a survey about what you would like to see from Farm Box when the season is complete. Please keep an eye out for that.
One thing we are confident about is that we want to ensure we can help as many people as possible while we have the opportunity. Therefore, this week we've introduced a new class of Good Add Ons: Flowers for Good. These are bouquets that each go to a different cause. We're excited to partner with Larkin Street Youth Services, The San Francisco Immigrant Legal & Education Network (SFILEN), and LYRIC as our first Flowers for Good partners.
Have a great rest of your weekend and, as always, we'd love to hear what you thought about your last box. Let us know here.
